the really sad part is that the pilot was basically a smushed up version of the entire british series, so the us series would have been a continuation of the british series, which would have been awesome!

Nah, the pilot was basically the first episode word-for-word. I only recently mustered up the courage to watch the final episode. Now, as I predicted, I'm very sad that I did... because now it's finally really over :(

Sad that I guess it's common practic to only have 6 episodes a season in the UK.

Sad that they stopped making new episodes.

Yes, UK seasons are short unless you're Top Gear. It's been an emotional roller coaster since I started watching IT Crowd... Never knew if there was going to be a second season, and didn't really have that much hope for even a third. Four came outta nowhere.

I couldn't imagine waiting for the seasons. Fortunately for me I stumbled across them on net flix, it was weird tho they only had a season or two up at a time. Glad to hear I'm not the only IT CROWD fan.

Yeah, once Netflix hit it seemed like everyone knew about IT Crowd. It used to be that I didn't know anyone that had seen it unless I'd given it to them to watch. They also aired it on BBCA sometimes, just season one. They might still play it.
